Cruisin' 2008, May 15-18 2008
Cruise on down to Ocean City Maryland for what has become one of the biggest celebrations of America’s love affair with automobiles. Cruisin Ocean City is a citywide event that will host more than 3,000 hot rods, customs, street machines and more. There will be more than 20 different car shows along with Boardwalk Parades and lots of entertainment.
At Cruisin Ocean City 2007 presented by Allstate, Mother Nature managed to provide three good weather days out of the four day event and that brought out 3,000 hot rods and lots of spectators.
Dennis Gage from the Speed TV Show “My Classic Car” was at the Convention Center for meet and greets, along with Ken Osmond who starred as “Eddie Haskell” on “Leave It To Beaver”. The Temptations put on an incredible Motown concert and the Funsters provided a great Rock’n Roll performance.
The Street Rodder Road Tour cruised into town for the weekend and Jim Rizzo from Street Rodder Magazine traveled in to select the Street Rodder National Top 10 that will be featured in an upcoming Street Rodder Magazine. We also welcomed back Chuck Vranas who selected his Street Rodder Cruisin awards.
Some of the top national names in the Country were on this year’s Manufacturer Midway including Allstate, Meguiars, Miller Electric, ATI, Flaming River, Flowmaster, Goodmark, GM Performance, K&N, Maxx Motors, SPAM, Hershey, Maryland Lottery and more.
